These are just some simple guidelines to keep us both sane. Thank you, in advance. 

I focus any correction and manipulation of the written word to these genres:

• Creative (Fiction [any genre, length], Memoir)
• Non-Fiction (Autobiography, Biography, Self-Help)
• Business, Promotional, and Web Copy

Please, only submit in PDF or WORD*, then I can use the Comment or Track Changes feature. You can see the changes I suggest, and those you don't like can be handled easily, matching your vision for your project.

Make sure your document is DOUBLE SPACED before determining total page length. This ensures you're getting an accurate amount of editing and I'm editing an accurate amount for the cost I quote.

Please, use a LEGIBLE font of your choice. Please, refrain from typing the entire manuscript in Edwardian--no matter how Gothic the piece.


Work submitted to me must be ORIGINAL and WHOLLY your own, minus any potential citations or quoted works. I may not be a press, but I won't waste my time with plagiarism either. If it isn't yours, don't submit it.

If we have not discussed your project in advance, please, submit a reasonable sample (1-5 double-spaced pages) of the manuscript to give me an idea of content and scope of the project. Include a contact page with your sample that says:

• Who you are
• Where or how to best contact you 
• What level of editing you feel your manuscript requires

If you are returning a manuscript for subsequent edits, you can re-submit that manuscript using the link at the bottom of the page.


*Note: PDF and Word - Current versions or compatible. RTF, TXT, WordPerfect, Works, or Open Office documents will be transferred to Word. I apologize in advance if this causes any inconvenience.



Payments are split 50/50: 50% of the project cost up front, 50% when project is completed to author's standards. 

I'm generally a pleasant girl to work with, but if some major creative differences spring up, the initial 50% is NON-REFUNDABLE, unless the fault in the matter is mine. Any edits provided up to the point of the conflict are considered paid for in full.
